Elon Musk is dad for 13th time as partner issues blunt message

Author and social media influencer Ashley St Clair, 26, wrote in a post on Musk-owned X that she had given birth to the 53-year-old Tesla and SpaceX chief’s baby.

She said: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.

“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

Musk, due to take part in a joint interview with US President Donald Trump in the White House for Fox News next week, has not confirmed or denied her claim.

He fathered his first child with ex-wife Justine Wilson in 2002, Nevada Alexander, who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at just 10 weeks old.

He also has twins, and a set of triplets born through IVF, now aged 19, with his former wife.

Three times married Musk also had three children with Canadian singer and musician Grimes, and a second set of twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

He confirmed last June that he and Zilis had welcomed a third child together, although the baby’s date of birth and name have not been revealed.

Musk has also been twice married to English actress Tallulah Riley, 39, but had no children with her. The couple have twice divorced.

In an interview with The New York Post, St Clair claimed Musk is not on the birth certificate of his latest offspring, and that he didn’t respond when she notified his team she’d be releasing the statement.

Her representative, Brian Glicklich, reiterated her claims, emphasising that Musk and St. Clair had been “privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time.”

St. Clair alleges the romance began with a simple direct message on X.

She claims she was forced to go public after allegedly being asked to keep the pregnancy a secret.

She told the New York Post: “I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever.”

St. Clair’s camp insists there has been ongoing private discourse about Musk’s involvement in their child’s life although she agreed to leave the billionaire’s name off the birth certificate to preserve his privacy, security and confidentiality.

She alleges that Musk provided her with a lavish apartment in New York’s Financial District.

Along with the residence came a security detail – but no public acknowledgment.

St Clair claimed: ‘I was completely isolated during my pregnancy.

“Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore.

“I was told not to tell anybody.”

She claims she first met Musk in May 2023 after a sudden work trip to Twitter’s headquarters.

St. Clair says she has not spoken with Musk since posting her revelation, though she did notify his team beforehand.

She added: “My child is the most perfect thing that happened to me. I wouldn’t change anything.”

Mr Glicklich added: “We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role

“Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the well-being and security of the child they share.”
