Elon Musk’s father is worried that he is “going to be crucified” in the upcoming biopic on his billionaire son, according to a report.
The tech mogul’s dad, 77-year-old Errol Musk, told The Sun Saturday that he wants to meet with critically acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky, who will helm and produce a film about the life of the world’s richest man.
The movie will be based on Walter Isaacson’s biography, which did not treat Errol Musk particularly kindly.
He has expressed his disapproval of the book since its September publishing, believing he was portrayed as a villain in his eldest son’s life.
“This is worrying,” he told the outlet. “Isaacson’s book is not accurate, not remotely.”
“I need to convey this to Aronofsky,” he added.
The South Africa native asked the “Black Swan” director to “sit down with him” and urged him to not “make the same mistake as Walter Isaacson,” he told The Sun.
A24 secured the rights to the film after an intense bidding war among several major studios and filmmakers.

After it was announced that Aronofsky would be directing, Elon Musk said he approved, writing on his social media platform X that he was, “Glad Darren is doing it. He is one of the best.”
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s father, however, is concerned.
“Isaacson took lies and innuendo and stated them as fact, particularly about my behavior but also about bullying and veld camps that never happened,” he said.
In the biography, Isaacson describes Errol Musk as a “rogue and charismatic fantasist” with a “Jekyll and Hyde nature.”
In one anecdote from the book, Elon describes attending a South African wilderness camp, known as “veldskool” when he was 12.

Isaacson wrote that the future tycoon lost 10 pounds at the camp, where children regularly died in the conditions.
“I am still amazed by Isaacson’s naivety in believing what he was told without checking in South Africa among people here,” he told the outlet.
Elon Musk also told the biographer he was often “beaten by bullies” while growing up in South Africa.
“The movie will be seen by thousands, maybe millions of average people,” the elder Musk said, comparing it to the biography.

“The book will be read by discerning intelligent adults who know better,” he continued.
Errol Musk also said he was concerned the filmmakers would take liberties with “very graphic scenes to create sensation.”
Elon Musk found himself in hot water this week after he endorsed an X post that claimed Jewish communities promote “hatred against whites,” responding, “you have spoken the actual truth.”
The statement prompted immense backlash, and several companies, like Apple, pulled their advertisements from the platform.
