DONALD Trump insisted Ukraine can wrestle back all of its land snatched by Russia and bust Putin’s “aimless” army – and here we reveal how.
The President vowed that with time, patience and tactical support, Moscow’s “paper tiger” can be shredded and the original borders restored.

This is a very different image of the end game to Trump’s previously vision, after he considered land concessions deals just weeks ago.
It also marks a dramatic swing in the President’s diplomatic support towards Ukraine – fuelled by a burning frustration with Putin.
Experts have outlined specific steps along the road to victory – and emphasised that the West will have to step up if Trump’s new vision is to be realised.
Hamish de-Bretton Gordon said the key is for Ukraine to hammer those areas where it has been hurting Russia, and for the West to enable it to do so.
He told The Sun: “Ukraine‘s deep operations informed by the Secret Service and Special Forces are having a real impact inside Russia.
“About 20 percent of the Russian oil industry has been severely damaged by these deep strikes.
“This has hit hard Russia‘s ability to produced petrol for cars – fuel is in very short supply.”
In the most recent episode of Battle Plans Exposed, Philip Ingram told us that Ukraine is fighting an “oil war”.
He said: “It’s a highly strategic, calculated campaign to cripple the engine of Putin’s war.”
De-Bretton Gordon explained: “What America could do, what the West could do, is enable more of this from Ukraine.”
This would further hobble one of Putin’s most important income pipelines – and limit what he could pump into his war chest.
The defence expert said that Western precision-guided and long-range missiles would considerably sharpen Ukraine’s teeth in targeting Russia’s oil infrastructure.
The UK has sent Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine, but for a long time restricted how Kyiv could deploy them.
Advocates want Europe to go further and faster – with Boris Johnson yesterday slamming Germany for not offering up its Taurus cruise missiles.
De-Bretton Gordon also called for a “no-fly zone on Western Ukraine” in order to “prevent Russian drones and missiles attacking civilian targets”.

That would also have a “huge psychological impact” on Russians, who would be dismayed to see all their aerial attacks downed.
He said countries like the UK, with our F-35 fighter jets stationed in Poland, could manage this without even straying into Ukrainian airspace.
De-Bretton Gordon added that Nato nations can also help the war effort on their own soil by shooting down any Russian jets that stray onto their territory.
Boris Johnson, the UK’s former Prime Minister and a passionate advocate for Ukraine, echoes Trump’s conviction of victory and has now also spelled out the necessary steps.
He said on Tuesday: “The Ukrainians, my friends, are going to win. Ukraine will win. This is a war for independence. They are fighting for their land, they are fighting for their statehood.”

Mr Johnson called for frozen Russian assets to be “unlocked” to help Ukraine fight off Vladimir Putin‘s forces.
He said: “Why is it still the case that the 300 billion dollars (£221 billion) of Putin’s frozen assets in a bank account in Brussels, and none of the diplomats in the world, none of the foreign ministers in the world, seem able to unlock this, get this done?”
Matthew Savill, Director of Military Sciences at Rusi, said that Western weapons support will always to be crucial to Ukraine’s war effort.
He told The Sun that the US must continue with “selling equipment to European countries to donate to Ukraine”.
But for, that only means fulfilling “existing commitments, not increasing support”, he said.
Savill also underlined that Trump’s vision of total Ukrainian victory is for the long term – and we shouldn’t expect Russia to roll over any time soon.
He said: “Ukraine reversing the course of the war to the extent that Trump suggests is something that – right now – is a long-term effort, years in the making and involving increased military and economic pressure on Russia.

Savill also said that Trump himself would have to cough up more in terms of “support and action” – as big bold words are not enough.on.
He said: “While more public criticism of Russia and support for Ukraine are both welcome, he [Trump] hasn’t proposed anything new in terms of US support or action.”
Neil Melvin, Director of International Security at Rusi, agree that the most crucial step in bringing victory to Ukraine is Trump abandoning his “mediator” role to nail down support measures.
He said: “Trump clearly recognises that Russia’s actions are central, including Moscow’s resistance to ending the war and reaching a peace agreement.
“Trump is frustrated and disappointed by Putin as he thought their relationship was sufficient to reach agreement to end the fighting.
“But Trump continues to maintain a strategic ambiguity on the US position in the war.
“He sees his role as that of a mediator between the warring sides rather than as a supporter of Ukraine.”
Trump at the UN

DONALD Trump went scorched earth on the “failing” United Nations during his fiery speech to the world leaders in New York on Tuesday.
The US president returned to the 80th UN General Assembly for the first time in five years – and shocked everyone with his fiery words.
Trump touted America’s role in bringing peace to seven conflicts since taking over the White House.
He touched on one of his favourite topics in politics – immigration, telling assembly members it’s time to end the ”failed experiment of open borders”.
He said: “It’s uncontrolled, your countries are being ruined.
While criticising immigration in Europe, Trump took a dig at Sadiq Khan, calling him a “terrible mayor”.
He asserted, without any evidence, that London was heading towards “Sharia law”, which is Islam’s legal system.
His full-throttle, assault of a speech left the assembly members gobsmacked as he warned world leaders ”your countries are going to hell”.
His bombshell comments on Ukraine came later on in a Truth Social post.
The UK has already vowed it is “ready to act” in the wake of Trump’s call to arms.
The Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper slammed Moscow‘s “provocative and reckless” violations into Nato airspace in recent weeks during a speech to the UN.
Ms Cooper told the UN on Tuesday: “Ukraine’s security is our security, and all of us depend on upholding the UN Charter.
“Russia’s actions seek to undermine democracy, secure conflict and spread instability far beyond Europe’s borders.
“In recent weeks, we’ve seen provocative and reckless violations of Nato airspace in Estonia, Poland and Romania, against which Nato stands firm, and we will be ready to act.”
