THE shocking motive behind the sickening torture, rape and killing of three young women in Argentina has now been revealed.

In a horrifying crime that has shocked the country, the trio were executed on a Instagram livestream after being kidnapped.

Lara Gutierrez was the youngest victim of the sadistic murders

Verdi was reportedly asphyxiated with a plastic bag

Police have said the sadistic torture was widely viewed and took place after a local gang tricked and kidnapped the women.

Lara Gutierrez, 15, Brenda Del Castillo, 20, and Morena Verdi, 21 were reportedly under the impression they were going to a party.

Grainy CCTV footage shows them getting into a white pickup truck on the kerbside.

The haunting clip is the last time they were spotted alive in public.

Upon their arrival, they would go on to endure what Argentinian police would call “sadistic torture”.

The vehicle they had boarded was actually owned by a brutal drug cartel, according to reports.

Two of them were accused of stealing four kilos of cocaine from the gang, local media has reported.

A regional governor described the killings as an “act of narco revenge”.

But the details of the sickening torture the three young women were subjected to has further appalled the nation.

Gutierrez is reported to have had all five fingers on her left hand and one of her ears cut off before she was killed.

Meanwhile, Del Castillo was stabbed by attackers, who allegedly tried to cut open her abdomen.

Verdi was reportedly asphyxiated with a plastic bag.

Their bodies were discovered buried in a house in the Buenos Aires outskirts five days after they went missing.

A gang leader is alleged to have ordered the “revenge killings” of the three young women.

He has been identified as a Peruvian national and is believed to have fled the country, authorities have claimed.

Four people have been arrested so far in relation to the killings.

Buenos Aires’ security minister Javier Alonso said: “They were last seen getting into a vehicle voluntarily because they had been invited to an event, not knowing they were falling into a trap set for them by an international drugs trafficking gang which had hatched a plan to kill them.

“The families of the victims have been informed.

“The entire murder and torture session was broadcast live on social media and was apparently viewed by 45 people who follow that Instagram account.”

“The bodies were found buried in a garden.

“The drug trafficking organisation has its operational command in Buenos Aires, and they had chosen this house to carry out the murders.”

A spokesperson for the Buenos Aires Ministry of Women and Diversity called the crime “the most extreme expressions of gender-based violence”.

They added: “In the context of drug-related crime, they are a brutal and ferocious expression of dehumanisation, cruelty and neglect.

“We accompany their families and loved ones in their grief.”
