A British tourist can be heard repeatedly yelling: “Oh my God, oh my God” as boulders thunder down, smashing into the hotel complex during a torrential downpour.
The landslide hit as the holiday island suffered freak floods after Storm Gabrielle swept the Atlantic.
Four people were trapped as the rockfall hit at the Vibra Tropical Garden Apartments, which is just a short stroll from Figueretas beach near Ibiza Town.
Two of the three casualties suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene, while the third was rushed to a nearby private hospital.
The fourth person was freed unharmed.
It was not clear this morning whether any Brits were among those injured.
Around 220 guests were evacuated overnight and moved to hotels in the nearby Playa d’en Bossa resort.
Ibiza Town Council confirmed the operation, revealing two more people were hurt elsewhere as freak floods hammered the island.
One was a pensioner who broke his leg after falling into an uncovered drain while trying to cross a flooded street.
The chaos struck as a severe orange weather alert was upgraded to red, bringing biblical rain that turned roads into rivers.
Parts of the airport highway became impassable, forcing stranded holidaymakers to drag suitcases on foot to catch flights.
A taxi driver told Periodico de Ibiza that a 25-minute trip from San Antonio to the airport turned into a three-hour ordeal – they spent an hour and a half trapped in a tunnel before finally making a 2pm flight with minutes to spare.
Luxury hotels were also hit.
At the chic Pacha Hotel near the marina, part of the roof collapsed, sending water pouring inside as staff desperately tried to mop up around fallen ceiling tiles.
One Brit posted: “Brilliant… check-in in 10 days.”
Another quipped: “Water party closing.”
Military emergency teams were flown in as conditions worsened.
A helicopter carrying specialist troops from Valencia landed yesterday, with more soldiers, police reinforcements and firefighters arriving from Majorca.
Ferries docked into knee-deep water, whikle Ibiza Airport suffered leaks as rain poured through the roof.
Operator AENA admitted: “Due to widespread torrential rains, a large amount of water has fallen in a short period of time, saturating the drains that carry the water away.”
Even local celeb Wayne Lineker was caught in the chaos.
The O Beach Club boss posted an Instagram snap of cars stranded in floodwater with the caption: “I just want to go to Zara. Been here an hour now.”
Classes at Ibiza’s municipal schools were also suspended today as clean-up crews raced to clear mud and debris after the worst storm to hit the party island in years.
