The professional writer and therapist was reportedly a keen skydiver, but using different equipment than normal.

Rosana’s parachute failed to open after she launched herself from the plane, and she plummeted to her death in Miramar on Sunday afternoon.

Her skydiving club sent their condolences to Rosana’s family after her tragic passing.

It said: “Aero Club Miramar deeply regrets the tragic accident that occurred near the aerodrome, in which a skydiver lost her life.

“We are providing support to her family, loved ones, and colleagues in this difficult time.”

The Argentine Writers Society paid tribute to Rosana with a touching tribute.

A spokesperson said: “We regret to announce the death of our member Rosana Mabel Back in an accident that occurred yesterday in the city of Miramar.

“It was a tragic incident that took our dear colleague.

“We are left with memories of sharing her friendship and that warm laugh that best characterised her.

“We send our condolences to her family.”

The Public Prosecutor’s Office has ordered an autopsy on the Rosana’s body and an expert review of the equipment used.

As well as being a keen skydiver, Rosana had a degree in Therapeutic Accompaniment and worked with people with autism and other developmental disorders.

The investigation into her death is ongoing.

Rosana’s tragic death comes as a British man is recovering from horrendous injuries in hospital after his parachute failed to open.

Mitchell Deakin, 24, from Lancashire, incredibly survived when both his parachutes failed during a tandem jump and he fell 11,000ft to Earth.

His instructor Jiron Arcos Ponce, 54, also survived the dizzying plummet – though both were critically injured.

The young Brit was on his “dream” US holiday and booked a jump from Jean Airport, Clark County, Nevada.

But when Ponce tried to deploy the parachute shortly after the pair leapt, it failed to open.

He threw up the emergency chute, but that also failed.
