AT LEAST one person has been shot after a gunman reportedly opened fire from a restaurant rooftop in Sydney.
Cops launched an urgent hunt for the suspect after they were alerted to the attack in Croydon Park, Sydney at around 7:30pm on Sunday.

One person and multiple cars are thought to have been targeted in what has been described as an “active shooter incident”.
The shooter, who was seen on the roof of a restaurant, reportedly fired fours shots onto the street.
A man in his 50s was rushed to Canterbury Hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound, NewsWire reports.
Another person was treated at the scene and taken to hospital but their condition remains unclear.
The whole area has been placed on lockdown with residents urged to remain indoors.
Police have also warned motorists to find alternative routes while they hunt for the suspect.
NSW Police said in a statement: “A police operation is currently underway at Croydon Park after shots were fired.
“The area has been locked down with Georges River Road closed between Croydon Avenue and Seymor Street and Brighton Avenue closed between Georges River Road and Queensborough Road.
“Specialist resources are attending, and the public is urged to stay inside, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
“Further information will be provided when available.”
