If Tesla’s limited color palette doesn’t appeal, you could opt for the brand’s $8,000 vinyl wraps for the Model 3 and Model Y, but our first glimpse of the Forest Green finish doesn’t fill us with confidence; a display vehicle at the Buena Park, California location has a less-than-perfect appearance.

Spotted by Tesla content creator @wang_made, the wrap has numerous defects and was applied to the vehicle with little care or attention. Close-up images show bubbling and subtle wrinkles on the surface, which isn’t what you’d expect at this price point.

We can even see a subtle gap in the vinyl wrap on the front bumper, which cheapens the overall look. From a distance, the wrap looks decent – attractive, even – showing potential for this to look good if done correctly.
