The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will face off in the NFL’s biggest game of the year on Sunday.
Super Bowl LX is a rematch of the 2015 match-up, when a last-minute interception of then-Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson on the one-yard line led to the Patriots’ 28-24 win.

Whether you are watching the game to see skilled football, the halftime performance, or the million-dollar advertisements, here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 Super Bowl.
When and where is the 2026 Super Bowl?
Super Bowl LX will take place Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. ET./3:30 p.m. local time.
It’s set to take place in the San Francisco Bay Area at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the home of the San Francisco 49ers.
How can I watch the 2026 Super Bowl?
The Super Bowl will be broadcast nationally on NBC, Telemundo and Universo.
You can also watch the game via streaming services, including Peacock, NFL+, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV, and YouTube TV.
Who is performing the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show?
Six-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny will be performing at the halftime show, just one week after he took home three awards at the 68th Grammy Awards, including album of the year for “DeBí TiRaR Más FOToS.”
The Puerto Rican artist is likely to perform songs from his six albums that delve into Puerto Rican and Latin traditions. The trailer for Bad Bunny’s halftime show promised that “the world will dance” during the show, and predictions for who he may bring out to join him have ranged from Cardi B to Rosalía to Jennifer Lopez. In 2020, Lopez brought out Bad Bunny to join her and Shakira’s own Super Bowl halftime headline in which he rapped his verse from “I Like It” and a portion of his hit “Callaita.”
During Bad Bunny’s acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards this year, he called out the recent immigration crackdown and the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) against immigrants and protestors.
“Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say: ICE out!” he said. “We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans.”
The speech has left the public wondering if his halftime show will include a similar pointed political message.
Other musical acts will take the stage, including Charlie Puth, who will sing the national anthem, and Green Day, who will perform during the opening ceremony.
How often has each team been in the Super Bowl?
The AFC’s Patriots will be headed to the Super Bowl for a record-setting 12th time—their first Super Bowl since legend Tom Brady left the franchise in 2020. Brady led the team to 10 Super Bowls and six wins of the coveted title. If the Patriots win on Sunday, they will break the NFL record for most Super Bowl titles at seven, surpassing the Pittsburgh Steelers. The two teams are currently tied with six wins.
This will be the Seattle Seahawks’ fourth Super Bowl appearance, though they have won only once, in 2014, against the Denver Broncos.
How much do tickets cost?
Official tickets to watch the game at Levi’s, which has around 68,500 seats, have already sold out. Those ranged from $950 to over $8,000.
But tickets are still available on resale platforms like StubHub and SeatGeek, priced from $4,000 to $60,000. According to Vivid Seats, the median entry price for retail tickets now stands at $7,497.
How much does an ad cost during the Super Bowl this year?
For advertisers, the Super Bowls offer more than just sports; they also provide an opportunity to put their products in front of millions of viewers, which is why they often go all out to stand out.
This year, the cost of a 30-second ad spot is reportedly as high as $10 million, with an average of around $8 million.
