American actor and producer Zachery Ty Bryan, who is best known for his role as Brad Taylor on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement, was sentenced to 16 months’ imprisonment on Tuesday, 24 February 2026. This happened after a Riverside County Superior Court in California denied the actor’s plea deal.
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift actor Bryan has been arrested for the sixth time in the span of five years. At the age of 44, the actor acknowledged his 2024 DUI (Driving under the influence) convictions. He admitted having a (BAC) blood alcohol content of 0.15%, which is approximately double the legal limit in California.
He has 2 more DUI convictions, and that is the main reason behind his probation for getting bail being rejected. Apart from this, he has over 6 active cases as of now.

In October 2020, Zachery got in legal trouble after his then-girlfriend, Deanna “Dee” Quinn, accused him of fourth-degree assault after an argument in his Lane County, Oregon, apartment. After this incident, he was sentenced to 3 years of bench probation and was instructed to have no contact with her.
In January 2021, Bryan was again arrested for second-degree domestic violence against his fiancée and the mother of his three children. Johnnie Faye Cartwright mentioned during the police investigation that the actor had choked and punched her during an argument.
