Marysville Plant is another one located in Ohio, producing the midsized Honda Accord, along with the Acura TLX and Integra. The plant is one of the world’s most advanced automobile manufacturing facilities, featuring equipment such as conveyors and lifters, Fanuc and Yaskawa Motomon robots, and a six-axis robot like the Fanuc M-2000AI/2300.

Hydraulic presses stamp lightweight sheet metals like ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum to create frame and body components. These components are thoroughly inspected, then later sanded to remove any burrs or sharp edges. Meanwhile, the bumper, dashboard, and trim are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).

Laser cladding is used to improve wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance, while polyepoxide (epoxy resin) structural adhesive is the go-to for improving rigidity, impact resistance, NVH, and durability.
