WWE RAW (11/27/2023)

We get recaps of Survivor Series. Michael Cole tells us that CM Punk will have a live microphone tonight. Randy Orton enters, and it looks like he has a few things to say. He is full of emotion while he poses on the turnbuckles. He is given a microphone. Randy Orton says it sounds like a few people missed him. He’s back for as long as he can. Welcome to Monday Night RAW. The fans welcome him back.

He had a lot of time to think about what he has accomplished. Randy had also never competed in WarGames, so when Cody called him, of course he was going to accept. WarGames was invented by Dusty Rhodes, and to be a part of that match is to be a part of professional wrestling history. He got to make a moment. However, he also has a bit of unfinished business with The Bloodline. He has made a career out of putting guys on the shelf. So, he has a bag full of receipts for every single member of The Bloodline. Those receipts are going to come in the form of the three most dangerous letters in all of sports entertainment… RKO! Rhea Ripley makes her entrance.

She welcomes him back. Ripley didn’t take him for someone who would do favors for others, or for being happy to be upstaged. He looks more dangerous than ever and it would be a shame to have that wasted. The landscape here has changed. The Bloodline has fallen, and the Judgment Day has risen. When it comes to WarGames, that was just a bump in the road. The reality is they are dripping in gold. If it wasn’t for him, Damian Priest would be the World Heavyweight Champion. Unlike The Bloodline, they get things done, and they will put him out permanently.

Randy Orton has been watching and all he has seen his Mami this, Mami that. Well guess what? Daddy’s back. She says a lot of things have changed, and it is true, but the one thing that has never changed is that nobody tells Randy Orton what to do. Rhea Ripley tried to warn him, but he has made them their enemy now. JD McDonagh & Dominik Mysterio blindside him. He fights back and gives McDonagh the RKO. Randy Orton gets the microphone and says when he finds Adam Pearce, he will ensure he gets Dominik one-on-one tonight!

Backstage, the Alpha Academy have a good time with Jelly Roll (singer). R-Truth has to get to catering before they run out of those. Akira Tozawa shows us a nasty version of the jelly roll.

Damian Priest is frustrated because he was the leader at WarGames, and they lost, so he tells the the rest of Judgment Day to speak up if they have a problem. They tell him that they all rise and fall together, so they don’t hold a grudge against him. Priest & Balor go check on JD McDonagh in the doctor’s office.

Cody Rhodes arrives and grabs a microphone. So many stories stemming from this weekend. His team in WarGames secured the victory and he wants to thank every one of them. Orton passed him Priest and allowed him to pick up the win in his Dad’s match. The other story is the return of CM Punk. Nobody knew that was going to happen. He welcomes CM Punk back. The fisherman always spots the other fisherman from afar. He’d like to announce some news of his own. There is only one destination for him. Granted the other authority, he enters himself in to the 2024 Royal Rumble. The lights go dim and Shinsuke Nakamura appears on the titantron.

He wants Cody to awaken him, to evolve. He was very patient, week after week. Now he is done waiting. He will bring chaos to him. Nakamura appears from behind and delivers the red mist!

#2. Bronson Reed vs. Ivar (w/ Valhalla) – Winner: Draw via Double Countout

The battle continues after the bell. Security tries to split them up, but it’s not happening. Ivar hits a cannon ball on Bronson and security guys.

Earlier today, Nia Jax said she would have beat Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series. Zoey Stark offers her a match.

Judgment Day get back to their clubhouse and find R-Truth covered in sugar and eating jelly rolls. In his typical confused way, he asks if he can join their WarGames team, but then learns they lost that match, so he tries cheering them up by saying Randy Orton is back. They kick him out.

#3. Nia Jax vs. Zoey Stark – Winner: Nia Jax

The Miz straight up challenges Gunther to a rematch. Gunther says he deserves to be in the ring, but not with him.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Welcome to Monday Night Rollins. He is a visionary. A revolutionary. He is Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. The crowd chants “CM Punk”, so Seth encourages them to do it more. Get it out of their system. He doesn’t want to spend one more second on that hypocrite. Instead of talking about someone who don’t matter, let’s talk about the World Heavyweight title. He has built it in to the most important in the entire industry.

Two days out from WarGames, he is not feeling too good. However, he is getting the itch again to be a fighting champion. He went to see Adam Pearce and sat in his office… Drew McIntyre’s theme interrupts. He takes a moment to congratulate Seth on his victory at WarGames and they handshake. Drew says he needs to put Jey Uso on the backburner and focus on the World Heavyweight Championship. He remembers what Seth told him before their match. Seth says Drew would have no one to blame but himself, and it would be the best thing to happen to him. McIntyre agrees.

Drew says if he wants to swim with sharks, he has to become the biggest one. Seth says he has always respected his honesty. He believes Drew deserves a rematch, however, he believes there may be a few people who deserve it more than him. And that is why he came out here tonight. He wanted to tell everyone that next week he will be defending the title live on Monday Night RAW. Drew asks who it is, and Seth says it is against Jey Uso. McIntyre knocks Rollins down, and then begins assaulting him. He yells at Seth that he beat Jey two weeks ago, so he is ahead of him in the line. Jey Uso shows up to fight McIntyre.

Both Jey & Seth team up to stop McIntyre in his tracks. Jey picks up the title and has a good look at it before he passes it to Seth. McIntyre is seething with rage.

Backstage, Sami Zayn catches up with Drew McIntyre. He tells him how he isn’t the only one who fell short to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. He’s acting like a spoiled child. McIntyre has a match next week, so he will ask Adam Pearce to ensure it is him.
