Tesla’s three-row EV is hitting back with a most potent powertrain capable of producing 1,020 horsepower, completing a 0-60 mph acceleration run in 2.5 seconds (with rollout subtracted). In comparison, the Gravity is estimated to generate over 800 hp, which enables a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. Lucid could surely create a faster Sapphire version, but that’s not in the pipeline just yet.
The Lucid Gravity beats the Model X on towing capacity and range yet matches its pricing with a base MSRP of under $80,000. However, this does not apply to the Dream Edition, which is the range-topping trim seen here. The Gravity is poised to arrive in late 2024.
