Drifting champion Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni has revealed his latest drift car at the Essen Motor Show.

Based on a Toyota GT86, a predecessor to the GR86, the competition-spec vehicle has been built by drift car specialists Quinns M-Sport and MotorsportFifty6, both based in the UK. The drift-ready GT86 is powered by a specially tuned 2JZ engine that develops more than 1,000 horsepower. The engine boasts a titanium intake and a carbon fiber air filter.

One of the final mechanical jobs needed was the exhaust and plenty of welding, which was done a week before its debut at Essen.

The vehicle wears a new black, grey, and yellow livery with several sponsors littered across the bodywork. Two-piece BBS LM wheels sit underneath the car and conceal the Wilwood brakes, made up of six-piston and four-piston setups at the front and rear, respectively.
