The objective was clear: To make the Typhoon even faster. The original V6 engine was removed, making way for a Texas Speed LS motor.
The modified Typhoon features a Tick Performance intercooler, Hellion 64mm turbos, bigger cams, an ICT billet aluminum kit, custom coils, a Holley accessory system, and a bigger intake manifold. As you can see, there were challenges in making everything fit. But the result was worth it, as the twin-turbo LS Typhoon produces 1,500 horsepower, which is transferred to the wheels via a part-time four-wheel drive system.
As you can see in the video and the burnout that comes later, only the rear wheels were engaged.
