WWE NXT Results for December 12, 2023

The show started with Carmelo Hayes having been attacked. No information on who did it.
Cora Jade cut a promo in the ring about how she stole the show at NXT Deadline. Lyra Valkyria interrupted, followed by Blair Davenport, followed by Nikkita Lyons. They brawled to set up a tag team match for later.
Dragon Lee was interviewed by Quinn McKay. He wants to be as great of a North American champion as Wes Lee, so he plans to defend it often, starting tonight.
Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match: Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley defeated The Meta-Four by pinfall.
Men’s Breakout Tournament Round 1 Match: Oba Femi defeated Myles Borne by pinfall. Lexis King had attacked Trey Bearhill during the announcement of the participants of the tournament.
In the locker room, Lyons and Valkyria talked about their tag match for later. Valkyria’s picture of herself with Becky Lynch now has Tatum Paxley’s face over Becky’s.
Dragon Lee defeated Tyler Bate by pinfall to retain the North American Championship.
Ava told Lexis King that everyone wants him in the breakout tournament so they can kick his ass. He revels in it. Mission accomplished. He’s going to replace Trey Bearhill.
Dijak vs Eddy Thorpe was either a no-contest or Dijak lost by disqualification after they brawled before the bell, then Dijak kept using a broken turnbuckle on Thorpe.
Chase University is looking to make back the money from the debt. They made $66 on a bake sale and $245 on a car wash, but that’s only one quarter of one quarter of one quarter of the interest, according to Duke Hudson. (That would be $19,904). Thea Hail wants to leave to check out Riley Osborne’s match, since she’s smitten. SCRYPTS then handed Andre Chase a briefcase and said he has a proposition for him.
Riley Osborne defeated Keanu Carver by pinfall.
Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp, Drew Gulak, and Myles Borne approached Dragon Lee backstage. One of them will face Lee next week for the North American Championship, but they won’t say who yet.
Backstage, Jacy Jayne convinced Thea Hail to speak to Riley Osborne. They had an awkward conversation. Osborne left to go shower. Kiana James and Izzi Dame came over to make fun of Hail for her crush.
Blair Davenport and Cora Jade defeated Lyra Valkyria and Nikkita Lyons by pinfall.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger want to prove themselves. Gallus comes over to talk some trash and Hank says they have more heart than all 3 of Gallus combined. After Hank and Tank leave, Joe Gacy (in a construction hat) says it takes a Joe to know a Joe, and criticizes Gallus for being too serious.
Trick Williams and Ilja Dragunov had a respectful in-ring promo to hype up their title match at NXT New Year’s Evil. Carmelo Hayes interrupted to say he’s convinced Dragunov is the one who attacked the both of them. Dragunov denied this and implied Hayes didn’t even get attacked in the first place. Hayes went to grab the title belt and inadvertently hit Trick with it to end the show as the fans chanted “Melo’s guilty” and “no he’s not.”
