What makes this even more impressive is that the team had little time to prepare for this challenge. The pit crew was blindfolded and completed three practice sessions at the Red Bull Technology Campus.

On the day of the challenge, the lights were turned off, and each pit crew member was given a helmet with a blacked-out visor. In case you’re wondering why you can see how it was done, the production crew used 27 specialist cameras to record this feat.

The 22 pit crew members took just 10 attempts to achieve a time of 2.84 seconds. Their first attempt was an 8.84-second stop, which is already impressive. Ferrari might want to take notes following Charles Leclerc’s abysmal 12.4-second stop at the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix.
