A BRIT who moved to Australia makes a whopping £52,000 after tax and works only half the year but says “it’s still not enough”.

He broke down the net income he takes home after paying the country’s 32,5 per cent taxes.

The Brit moved from Newcastle to Perth, Western Australia about four years ago.

Now he renovates the camps at the mining sites.

He shared that he works eight days in a row for 96 hours total.

In the week that he is on the job, the worker makes £2,408 in disposable income.

He also shared that he has no expenses while working as everything is paid for by the employer, including “quality food”.

The only expense would be alcohol for those who drink.

“On your week on, you don’t spend a cent unless you drink,” he added.

And working only half the year, Jared manages to get hands on £52,000 in cash.

In comparison, the average salary of a carpenter in the UK is £35,000 a year before any deductions.

The 23-year-old said this is “the most he’s ever been paid” in his life.

But the whopping amount is still “not enough” for the Brit.

He said: “It’d be a different story if I had a family.

“I really don’t think it’s enough if you have a family. If you want to be comfortable anyways.”

Although he enjoys the perks of FIFO work and says he is “grateful”, Jared shared his goal of transitioning into online earning.

FIFO provides comfortable living and good income, but most of the workers spend half the time away from the loved ones.

Jared dreams of creating a passive income to prepare for the future and possibility of starting a family.

Another worked revealed how he makes more money than a doctor, earning two grand a week with zero expenses.

Similarly. a savvy woman has shared how she makes £10,000 a month doing a job not many people fancy having a go at.
