LG Electronics Creates Transparent Car Antenna

LG says applying the antenna film to a broad surface guarantees reliable telecommunications services. The film is also scalable to handle smaller loads or increased network traffic. In a standard car like the Toyota Prius, it can provide access to the Global Navigation Satellite System and Wi-Fi networks.

In more advanced models like the BMW 7 Series, in which you can live stream sports on the massive Theater Screen, the antenna film can provide 5G coverage. Currently, BMW uses a standard shark fin for the 5G connectivity required.
