One day after former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s estranged husband Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce, her friend and E! News cohost Justin Sylvester revealed how she was doing. He appeared on Today with Jenna and Hoda on January 3 and said Rachel is taking it day by day. He said that she was in survival mode and that it would take time to heal herself. Notably, Rachel has also removed Abasolo from her name on Instagram, and Justin said that she will soon make a statement about the divorce proceedings.

Bryan gave the details on his Instagram stories on the day he filed for divorce and revealed that the former couple had decided to split up and start afresh. He posted on January 2 on his Instagram story and wrote, “Many of you know me as a chiropractor and also as a husband, my proudest role so far. Sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go.

Justin also reacted to Bryan’s story on Today with Jenna and Hoda. He called it weird, noticing how Rachel is “super private about her personal life.” He urged everyone to give Rachel some privacy, and she would make a statement when she was ready to talk.

Reportedly, the divorce documents of the former couple mention the official date of separation as December 31, 2023, and Bryan has also requested spousal support, though the exact amount has not been specified yet. Abasolo also wants to prevent the court from giving spousal support to Lindsay.

The divorce news surfaced just two months after Lindsay told E! News that they were trying to get pregnant. The reason for the divorce is still unknown; however, the documents mentioned the reasons for the split as “irreconcilable differences.”
