Jennifer Lopez’s Vacation Shoes Are Actually Shocking

I’m pretty sure no one is starting their 2024 in as relaxed a style as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who were spotted ringing in their new year on the sunny streets of St. Bart’s—apparently having gotten over their little tiff from a few days ago.

In photos published in InStyle, Lopez appears in her vacation whites, wearing a crisp sundress in a colorful magenta flower print that featured a plunging, ruffled neckline. The figure-skimming midi cinches at the waist with a tie belt and has extra layer of skirt at the back. Lopez accessorized her island look with white sunglasses, a blue Chanel bag, and—gasp!—flat white flip-flops. As they say in St. Bart’s: C’est magnifique.

Affleck, meanwhile, kept his look even more casual in baggy jeans and a white button-down with what appears to be an unbuckled brown belt.

Based on her social media, it looks as though J.Lo got much more dressed up for her actual New Year’s Eve celebration. In pictures posted to her Instagram grid, the pop diva posed in a white silk pajama-style suit, topped with a furry black coat and a wide-brim black fedora. “Hummingbird season has officially begun…,” she wrote in the caption, referencing a track from her new album This Is Me…Now.

And Jennifer Lopez…now…wears flats, apparently.
