India‘s high commission in Canada said on Tuesday the country’s officials will resume processing visa applications in Ottawa and at consulates in Toronto and Vancouver, a month after New Delhi suspended the services in Canada and for Canadian citizens worldwide.
“After a considered review of the security situation that takes into account some recent Canadian measures in this regard, it has been decided to resume visa services for the following categories with effect from October 26, 2023,” the high commission stated in a media release.
