A DEVASTATING supersized Russian bomb has been unleashed onto Ukraine in a chilling blitz through a residential neighbourhood.
Dubbed a “Monster Bomb” the 1,500kg mega weapon ripped through a multi-storey building before exploding into a deadly fireball reaching heights of over 150ft in the air.

Vladimir Putin ordered his cronies to start mass production of the world’s heaviest glide bomb in the FAB-1500-M54 recently after seeing the horrifying success they’ve had.
Horrific footage shows one of the mammoth bombs tearing through a town in Ukraine and smashing into an eight-storey building.
Russian propagandists filmed the lethal explosion as it terrorised residents of Krasnogorovka, near Donetsk.
The chilling video shows the weapon soaring through the sky before quickly dropping onto the quiet residential neighbourhood and unleashing hell.
As the building block was struck a terrifying ball of fire followed closely behind, unleashing a fireball 20-stories high.
Then thick plumes of smoke plagued the air reaching far and wide across the town.
The Monster Bomb is equipped with a whopping 675kg of explosives that cause the horror fiery blast.
But most menacingly, the bomb can reportedly fly up to 40km and is able to use satellite or laser navigation to accurately hit its doomed target.
And when it hits, the impact causes pure devastation over a 200m radius.
Worryingly for Ukraine, due to the imposing size and sheer weight of the bomb there are hardly any measures to shoot it down and stop it ripping through entire streets.
The head of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, first warned in November 2023, that Russia was showing “preparations for mass deployment of FAB-1500s”.
In February, Russia’s defence minister, Sergei Shoigu, was seen visiting the factory responsible for producing the bombs.
Pro Russian media said during the time of the visit that they had been in production since the start of the war over two-years-ago and had tripled the numbers in that time.
The FAB-1500-M54 are seen as a huge development up from the KAB-1500 bomb, made in the Soviet Union in the 1970s.
They caused chaos across Europe but haven’t been seen since the 1980s.
Putin has previously said he has the hardware for every scenario imaginable and has assured the world his artillery is capable of mass destruction.
And even gave a chilling warning to the West saying Russia is “ahead of everyone, the United States and the other countries in terms of development”.
It comes as Russia test fired a nuclear missile just 24 hours after Putin made a fiery nuke threat to the West.
Kremlin commanders announced the test firing of a Yars ballistic missile – which can carry nuclear warheads.
Video released by Russian state media showed the 50,000kg, 75ft weapon being fired from a mobile missile launcher.
Putin’s war in Ukraine
ON February 24, 2022, Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin launched a brutal and bloody invasion of Ukraine.
Russian forces stormed the border from Belarus in the north, Russia in the east and Crimea in the south – taking over towns, torturing and slaughtering civilians.
Putin dubbed it a “special military operation”, to “denazify Ukraine”, which in his twisted mind he believes belongs to Russia.
In October 2022, the Kremlin signed treaties annexing the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia from Ukraine – dubbing them part of Russia.
This war is an extension of what Putin started in 2014 when he did the same with Crimea.
Russia’s continued and bizarre propaganda throughout serves as a front for two years of brutalising the country and its people.
But while gruelling meat grinder battles are fought on the frontline, Zelensky’s Ukrainian forces continue put up an impressive defence.
And Ukraine has vowed to reclaim all of its territory – making some good strides.
In the Black Sea they have taken out several of Putin’s key warships and strongholds, but without key fighter jets they lack sufficient air cover.
With a lack of planes, vital ammunition and tanks, Ukraine struggled to meet the goals of its 2023 counteroffensive on land.
The US, Britain and other countries in the West have sent money, supplies, ammo and training to Ukraine in an effort to help.
But concerns continue to rise around the world that the support is not enough and that if Nato don’t step up to help push Putin from Ukraine, he will bring war to Europe’s doorstep.
