Swift has released a collection of exclusive LPs which include vault tracks like “Say Don’t Go” and “Is It Over Now?”

Her name is Taylor and she was born in 1989. Nearly nine years since releasing her Grammy-winning pop album of the same name, Taylor Swift has finally dropped the re-recorded edition, 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Her fourth re-recorded album, the new soundtrack is complete with five vault tracks that’ll have Swifties everywhere dancing to the beats forevermore.

After Swift premiered her massively successful Eras Tour movie in theaters only a few weeks ago, the star has marked her new re-release with exclusive and collectible editions of 1989 (TV). That includes special-edition records in rose garden pink, aquamarine green, and sunrise boulevard yellow — which have already disappeared from her website — along with no shortage of new merch. She’s also released a Target exclusive LP that features all the new “From the Vault” tracks, plus a bonus song. She’s even given fans CDs with their own posters, a re-recorded “Bad Blood” remix featuring Kendrick Lamar, and a cassette tape.

“I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and a part of me was reclaimed in 2023 with the re-release of this album I love so dearly. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the magic you would sprinkle on my life for so long,” Swift wrote in a handwritten letter shared to Instagram after dropping 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

Continued Swift, “This moment is a reflection of the woods we’ve wandered through and all this love between us still glowing in the darkest dark. I present to you, with gratitude and wild wonder, my version of 1989. It’s been waiting for you.”

“For many Swifties, this is the re-recording we’ve been waiting for,” Rolling Stone‘s Angie Martoccio writes in the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) review, dubbing Swift’s re-recorded album an instant classic. “Ever since she announced her genius plan to reclaim her masters in 2019, we’ve been shouting ‘We want our 1989 TV!’ And we’ve had to wait a while — for Midnights, for three other Taylor’s Versions to have their moment, and for Swift to embark on the second highest-grossing tour of all time and release it as a movie. After dropping the re-recordings of ‘Wildest Dreams’ and ‘This Love,’ the entire album is here, on the anniversary of the original. We can finally log off, get our red lipstick on, and play ‘Slut!’ in peace.”
