Kia has announced pricing for the 2025 Sportage, its best-selling model. In June 2024 alone, the company sold 13,316 examples, making it hugely popular. Minor revisions have been made to the lineup to keep the Sportage appealing to customers. But before we look at that, let’s check out the pricing for MY2025. Thankfully, increases have been kept to a minimum compared to the 2024 model year.

Basic To Plush, Gas To PHEV, There’s Something For Everyone
Those seeking additional luxury will be satisfied with the SX and SX Prestige models. Priced from $32,790, the SX builds on the EX trim with memory seating for the driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped gear lever, and a Harman Kardon sound system, among other things. The SX Prestige justifies its $2,000 premium over the SX grade with several nice-to-haves, including a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and a power-adjustable passenger seat, to name a few add-ons.

Following the SX Prestige are the X-Line ($32,090), X-Pro ($36,290), and X-Pro Prestige ($38,090), all of which are exclusively offered with all-wheel drive. The X-Line receives a center-locking differential, model-specific styling, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance. The X-Pro gets all this and 17-inch wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich all-terrain tires. A multi-terrain drive mode selector is also standard. The X-Pro Prestige receives more luxuries than the standard X-Pro. These models rival the Subaru Forester Wilderness (a new model is coming soon) and the all-new Nissan Rogue Rock Creek.
Three Engine Options Carry Over Unchanged
The X-Line and X-Pro models receive new styling accents, which include black exterior badging, gloss black bumper inlays, and gloss black wheels (X-Line only). Regarding engine choices, the Sportage is powered by a four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that develops 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
2025 Kia Seltos Is A New Car Bargain
The lineup kicks off at $24,590, with most trims receiving more standard features than before.
Let’s not forget the talented Sportage hybrid and PHEV, though. The former, in LX FWD guise, starts at $28,590 and is powered by a 1.6-liter engine that produces 227 hp and 258 lb-ft. Not only does it offer superior performance, but the gas mileage is far more impressive, too. However, for the ultimate Sportage experience, the PHEV is the one to go for. It delivers 261 horses and 258 lb-ft, along with an all-electric range of 34 miles. Pricing for this variant starts at $39,690 for the 2025 Sportage PHEV X-Line Prestige AWD. We expect a facelifted model to arrive for MY2026 with more substantial updates, but until then, the American-made crossover soldiers on with minor revisions. All MY2025 Sportage pricing mentioned above excludes Kia’s $1,375 destination fee.
