Footage shows two Russian aircraft passing by at low altitude when the Ukrainian forces open fire with a surface-to-air missile that hones in on the target.
The images were obtained from the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Colonel-General Mark Bezruchka of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A statement from the group said: “Continuing the demilitarisation of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
“Today, in the area of the Pokrovske Triangle (an anomalous zone where the occupiers’ aircraft tend to crash), another enemy Su-25 has lost communication.
“Two Russian pilots had the audacity to fly very close to our positions. One of them was immediately punished for their insolence.
“This is the result of another flawless hunt by the mysterious anti-aircraft phantoms of Donbas, part of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade.”
The Soviet-designed Su-25, nicknamed “Frogfoot” by NATO, is a heavily armored ground-attack aircraft.
It has seen extensive use by both sides in Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
Ukraine’s military have been consistently adapting and improving their aircraft and weaponry since Vlad launched his barbaric full-scale invasion in 2022 – and the Yak-52 is the latest innovative project.
Last month, Ukraine launched a kamikaze drone attack on Russia, sparking an enormous fire in a humiliating blow for Putin.
Kyiv’s forces struck a crucial Russian oil depot not far from the frontline as residents reported hearing five ferocious explosions.
The 2am strike on Azov port in Russia’s Rostov region ignited fires in multiple storage tanks.
Videos showed huge flames and plumes of black smoke pour from the oil hub facility around ten miles from the Azov Sea.
The strike in Azov proved another failure by Russian air defences to fend off Ukraine’s kamikaze drones.
Intense fires sparked by the hit covered some 53,820 square feet and was the latest in a series of Ukrainian attacks hitting Russia’s oil refining and storage facilities.

And in yet another blow to Putin, Ukraine’s drones are continuing to destroy his tanks and weapons on the front lines as part of Ukraine’s extra lines of defence.
Drones have been deployed in the war on an unprecedented scale with thousands being used daily to hunt down Russian forces, guide artillery and bomb targets.
Over two thirds of Russian tanks destroyed by Ukraine so far in 2024 have been taken out by attack UAVs, a Nato official told Foreign Policy.
And Ukraine’s air defences have taken out thousands of Russian drones and missiles launched by a ruthless Vlad.
Since the full-scale invasion was launched, Ukraine has destroyed 11,221 Russian drones, 2,297 cruise missiles, as well as more than 23,000 tanks and military vehicles, according to Ukraine’s MoD.
