Over the years, she’s flirted with the idea of being both an anti-hero and a superhero. Sometimes she’s a gang leader ruling the streets of New York, and sometimes she’s the first to answer Spider-Man’s call for help. Either way, she’s an absolutely beloved character in the Marvel Universe.

Thanks to this, she has demonic abilities as well, such as dark sorcery which she can add ontop of her already incredibly impressive telepathy. As far as dangerous women go, having all of the powers of Marvel’s most powerful telepaths on top of demonic magic is pretty hard to beat.

25 Hope Summers

(AKA White Phoenix)

Mutants are major things in the Marvel Universe. Some of the most powerful characters Marvel has to offer are Mutants. Legendary characters like Magneto, Cyclops, Wolverine, even Apocalypse, and Hope Summers can defeat them all. Hope’s mutant power allows her to mimic the powers of any mutants she is near. The powers she mimicks are immediately at their full power and she doesn’t need to learn how to use them. She also has the power to shut down any mutant powers around her, removing their powers. While Hope isn’t very useful against non-mutants, she is a God compared to any mutants.

24 Illyana Rasputina

(AKA Magik)

Illyana is a weird situation when it comes to her power. While she is a mutant, it’s not her being a mutant that makes her dangerous. Illyana is also known as the Sorceress Supreme of Limbo. She has vast magical abilities, such as Energy Manipulation, Astral Projection, Binding, and Summoning. Basically anything Doctor Strange can do, Illyana can do as well. Kamala Khan has only been a Marvel hero for a short time compared to some of the other characters on this list, but her ascent to a position of prominence in the company’s heroic pantheon has been swift. It has also been warranted, as Kamala has captured the spirit of classic Marvel stories in a way many earlier characters have become detached from.

As Ms. Marvel, her story has only gotten more thrilling as she’s been revealed to be part-Inhuman/part-mutant, has died and been resurrected, and most excitingly, has been written by Iman Vellani, the actress who portrays Kamala in the MCU.

As part of her secondary mutation, Frost can also transform her body into a diamond form. While in this state, she is completely impervious to psychic attacks, which could otherwise harm her. On top of this, her diamond form gives her enhanced strength, and makes her nearly invulnerable to harm.

Laura also has an immensely keen intellect, showing fluency in many languages, and styles of martial arts.

Somewhat confusingly, the original version of Laura Kinney was aged-up as part of a storyline, and subsequently took on the alternate moniker of “Talon,” before being killed off as one of the
most tragic deaths of Marvel’s
Fall of X

. There is, however, also a younger version of the character still active in the Marvel Universe, still operating under the name “Wolverine.”

Since then, Gamora has been on tons of adventures, sometimes as a ruthless assassin and sometimes as a hero in the Guardians of the Galaxy. Gamora even gained the Time Stone at one point and held it for so long that she’s managed to retain some residual abilities from it, such as precognition. She has also possessed all the Infinity Gems, which is a feat that her father Thanos has constantly been seeking out, ever since he failed to impress Lady Death with his mad wish for universal genocide.

Moondragon is one of the strongest telepaths Marvel has to offer, rivaling mutants such as Professor X or Jean Grey. Not only are her mental powers exceptionally strong, Heather can also turn into an actual dragon, giving her a combination of powers that makes her one of Marvel’s mightiest forces for good.

16 Even Thor Considers Storm Marvel’s “Goddess Of Thunder”

(AKA Ororo Munroe)

Creators

Powers

Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975)

Dave Cockrum, Len Wein

Weather manipulation and control; flight; strong leadership qualities

An iconic X-Men character, Storm has powers of weather manipulation; though, in some ways, this is a colossal understatement. In some storylines, Storm has been able to wipe out entire areas by calling upon a tsunami. Her weather control powers are so strong that the God of Thunder himself, Asgardian All-Father Thor, considers Storm to be on his level.

Lighting tends to be Storm’s favorite weapon, as she can call it down from the sky at any given time to shock her opponents into submission. In addition to her own capabilities, Storm is also a natural leader, who tends to bring out the best in others’ powers.
