Luke Bryan hits the top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for a 35th time, as he hoists “But I Got a Beer in My Hand” to No. 10 on the chart dated Nov. 11.

In the Oct. 27-Nov. 2 tracking week, the song increased by 8% to 18.3 million audience impressions, according to Luminate. The lead single from Bryan’s upcoming studio album was written by Matt Dragstrem, Chase McGill and Geoff Warburton.

Bryan, whose 35 Country Airplay top 10s include 26 No. 1s, follows his previous single, “Country On,” which reached No. 3 in December 2022. He most recently led as a featured artist on Jordan Davis’ “Buy Dirt,” which ruled for two frames in January 2022. Bryan banked his first top 10 with his first of 44 entries when “All My Friends Say” hit No. 5 in September 2007. He first reached No. 1 with “Rain Is a Good Thing,” a two week chart-topper in July 2010.

Bryan ties Brad Paisley and becomes the 13th artist with at least 35 Country Airplay top 10s since the list launched in January 1990. George Strait leads with 61, followed by Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, each with 60.

Bryan will co-host the 57th Annual Country Music Association Awards (Nov. 8, on ABC), with former NFL star quarterback Peyton Manning.

Deep ‘Thinkin’ ’

Morgan Wallen’s “Thinkin’ Bout Me” dominates Country Airplay for a third week (35 million, up 7%). Of Wallen’s 10 No. 1s, it marks his sixth to reign for three or more weeks.

Meanwhile, of the 16 songs that have ascended to their first weeks at No. 1 so far in 2023, the track is the seventh to lead for three or more frames.
