Make your coffee extra strong if you’re travelling from London Paddington to Heathrow this morning – and allow extra time as there could be delays.

This is because passengers face cancellations and delays of up to 20 minutes on the route due to a safety inspection of the track between Paddington and Reading.

It is wreaking havoc on the Elizabeth line on the London Underground, Heathrow Express and Great Western Railway trains, with disruption estimated to last until 9am.
