Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl who year old girl who went missing in Newcastle last night.

Jessica Mattinson, from Gateshead, was last seen on CCTV in the centre of Newcastle moments before her disappearance last night.

CCTV shows Jessica checking her phone while wearing grey flared trousers, a light grey top, white sliders and a black coat.

The footage was captured at around 5.25pm yesterday evening on Grainger Street.

Jessica is described as a white female, 5ft 4ins tall, of medium build, with long mousey brown hair.

Anyone with any information about Jessica’s disappearance is urged to call Northumbria Police on 101, quoting log number NP-20241027-0895.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: ‘Can you help us find Jessica Mattinson?
Jessica, from Gateshead, was last seen on Grainger Street in Newcastle city centre at about 5.25pm yesterday.
‘Jessica, 13, is described as a white female, 5ft 4ins tall, of medium build, with long mousey brown hair.
‘She was last seen wearing a light grey top, light grey flared trousers, a black jacket and white slider shoes – as pictured in the CCTV image on the right.’
‘Anyone with information should contact us on 101, quoting log number NP-20241027-0895.’
