Welcome to Plathville stars Ethan and Olivia Plath are done, after marrying in October 2018. While they stayed in love for a long time, there were a lot of red flags, so it’s not a surprise that Ethan and Olivia broke up. Nonetheless, it’s very sad. They tried so hard to keep their relationship alive, while dealing with some serious roadblocks. Since they’re divorcing, the future of the popular show’s in question. Welcome to Plathville season 5‘s all about emotional turmoil. Olivia, who perhaps sensed that she’d be ending things with Ethan, stopped holding back. She’s openly gone to war against certain members of the Plath family, including her former buddy Moriah Plath. Olivia and Moriah were once as thick as thieves. Now, they’re at each other’s throats. Also, Olivia’s not speaking to Kim and Barry Plath. The feuding’s out of control, and it could be argued that by fighting with Olivia so much, the other Plaths, including Ethan, are killing the golden goose.

Why Welcome To Plathville Could End

Welcome to Plathville featured many scenes with Ethan and Olivia. Without them, the show could lose its center. While there are other storylines that add some entertainment value, Ethan and Olivia were really the biggest stars on the series. Kim and Moriah also get attention, but not as much. Ethan and Olivia have broken up, so how will the show be structured? Will they both still appear as they branch out to lead separate lives? Maybe, but it’s possible that they’ll want to move on from the reality TV show. Airing their romantic woes in front of cameras probably didn’t help them. They may want to live in different ways.

If that happens, it’s possible that season 5 might actually be it. While the other cast members probably want to keep it alive, so they can remain famous and make money, it’s not going to be the same without Ethan and Olivia. It’s like taking the centerpiece off a holiday table. Something’s missing that adds a lot of impact, and keeping the series vibrant and exciting could be very tough. So, although the divorce news is sad, the split’s for the best. With Olivia, he was always off-balance. She didn’t nurture his most impressive qualities, such as his gentleness, dependability, and kindness. She pushed him to change his lifestyle when he didn’t want to. He’s quite happy to maintain his typical routine.

On the other side, Ethan didn’t give Olivia the kind of excitement that she needs. Without taking risks and expanding her horizons, she’s unfulfilled. Also, she wants a lot of communication, and sometimes Ethan runs away rather than facing problems head-on. Olivia’s fearless, but she needs to put a little sugar on it. She can be harsh, and that aspect of her personality has damaged Ethan’s psyche.
