The most significant change in Cliff’s lineup in November 2023 is that he switched his Aerodactyl for a Dratini in Pokémon GO. Because his first creature is fixed during a period, this is the Pokémon you will first face when challenging Cliff in the upcoming months. To beat Dratini, it is best if you use an Ice- or Fairy-type Pokémon. Dragon-types can also cause a lot of damage, but they are weak against Dratini’s own Dragon-type, so it can be a risky decision to take.

Things start getting complicated during his second wave, as they can be one of three Pokémon with distinct weaknesses. They are Slowking, Cradily, and Gallade.
