A WOMAN who took in a stray puppy was left in a state of complete shock when it turned into a terrifying creature.

She took the pup into her home to feed and nurture it but the cute ball of fluff soon grew much larger than she expected.

The owner of the creature – named Awilix- calls it a “wolf dog” and claims that it is 80 per cent grey wolf, 10 per cent German Shepherd and 10 per cent Malamute.

Awilix had the internet baffled as he appeared on a Tiktok video which was captioned “when you rescue a stray puppy”.

The video has been viewed 51.2 million times and the creator often feels the need to couple videos posted of her wolf with a warning.

This reads: “Wolfdogs are not meant for the average person. While amazing animals they require special attention, care and training.”

The viral clip showed a harmless-looking fluffy pup playing with his owners hand before it abruptly cuts to a wolf like creature prowling towards the camera.

The beast is much bigger than a dog, with pointed ears, a matted coat and beady glowing eyes.

Tiktokers were quick to spring to action and warned the woman: “Bro that a damn wolf” and “That wolf will kill you”.

But one saw the sunny side of the situation and said: “He’s not in your house, your in his!”.

A third seemed jealous of the creature and commented: “I WANT…I NEED”.

Although this pet mishap seems an unlikely mistake to make this is not the first time something like this has happened.

Recently a man thought he had brought a puppy but it turned out to different beast.

He discovered he was actually caring for a fox cub and could have been in danger of catching a whole range of diseases.

Similarly this happened again when a woman rescued an adorable black kitten but it soon grew into a petrifying black panther.

She then made a shock decision to keep the predator, who is now best friends with her pet Rottweiler.

There was also a family on China who were in mortal danger as they took more than two years to realise their pet dog was actually a bear.
