Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis vowed that if he’s elected to the White House, he’ll revoke the visas of international students who support Hamas terrorists.

DeSantis, 45, was outraged by how university students have reacted to the Israel-Hamas War.

“Before the blood was even dry on the Israelis who were massacred, you saw people in our own country on college campuses going out and protesting and cheering on Hamas terrorists,” the Republican said at an event in Iowa Friday night.

“Any foreign student on a visa who’s out there praising Hamas, when I’m president I will cancel their visa and I will send them back to their home country.”

He also supported the businesses that have come out and said they would not hire students who have voiced anti-Israel views.

He told the Megyn Kelly Show he would “not hire any of those people,” but is more worried about what’s happened inside the walls of the US education system.

“What the hell is going on in American universities nowadays?” he questioned on the show.

“Before the blood was even dry on the Israelis who were massacred, you saw people in our own country on college campuses going out and protesting and cheering on Hamas terrorists,” the Republican said at an event in Iowa Friday night.

This week, an NYU student and teens on the Upper East Side were seen ripping down posters with the images of Israelis taken hostage by Hamas in the Oct. 7 surprise attack.

Several college students have also been seen participating in pro-Palestine rallies, including a Cornell professor who said he was “exhilarated” by the attack — before apologizing.

DeSantis said students did not perform these acts during WWII when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and said a “sickness” has spread through the modern college campus, which is plagued by “toxic culture.”

The 2024 hopeful’s remarks mirror those of Republican Senator Marco Rubio, who is attempting to fast-track a resolution to revoke the visas of foreign citizens living in the US who support the Hamas terror group or its allies.

The Florida Congressman is asking the Senate to approve deportations for those visas holders.

“America is the most generous nation on earth, but we cannot allow foreign nationals who support terrorist groups like Hamas and march in our streets calling for ‘intifada’ to enter or stay in our country,” Rubio told Fox News.

Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas has also asked for similar measures to be taken place.

Former President Donald Trump has also asked for “strong ideological screening of all immigrants” as well as suggesting a travel ban.

More than 1,400 Israelis were killed and more than 4,300 have died in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the battle. Thousands more have been injured.

Two American hostages were released by Hamas this week.

The mother-daughter duo was taken to a military base in Israel to reunited with family.

More than a dozen Americans are still unaccounted for in the country.
